Unusual Layering

When it comes to fashion, winter is my favourite season. I wouldn’t say it is my favourite season in general, there are times where I refuse to go outside, when I am on the lower east side of New York and the polar vortex graces us with its presence.

Winter fashion melts my heart because of one thing: layering. I layer almost everything. You will always see me layer a turtle neck under a shirt or dress, a t-shirt under a cami or dress, and even pants under dresses. The opportunities are endless people.

Yesterday, I was hanging in the Lover store at (my fav!) Strand Arcade, trying all their new Autumn/Winter 17 goodness. Time for summer to be gone. As much as I like the beach, I am a little over sweltering in this ‘hottest Summer’ since ……. forever.

Layering shirts is a fun thing! I like how you manage underline your femininity by teaming this white floral shirt with V-neck sleeveless LBD and block-heeled criss-cross sandals. I also made a post how to wear layered looks with shirts, here is the link: http://fashiontwin.com/layered-looks-with-shirts/

Hope you like it the same as me!

    XOXO,
    Laura

This Easter weekend was one to remember, a trip to the Barossa Valley in South Australia to drink some great wines and eat a little too much chocolate. I am writing this post whilst I sit here eating my last lunch at the beautiful Kingsford Homestead. As years go by, I fall more […]
  • Brooke Testoni, Christopher Esber, Aska, Street Style, LoeweGive denim a rest I wear denim a lot, and I mean - A LOT. I think we all do, not only is it an easy option, it is also comfortable, flattering and just a reliable go-to. Now that it is changing season, I have started to replace the denim and show a little leg. Don't worry a little fake tan had to be put on before these bad boys made an appearance. A Winter tan is […]

What I have noticed is that our high street favourites wanted to join the party, and […]
