What to wear when you don’t want to wear black

Colour is an obvious alternative to our basic staples, but personally, I think a print is more fun. Yes we invest in staples that are the usual black, grey, white and denim, but hey you got to live a little right?

2018 is for experimenting more. It is for jumping out of your comfort zone, wearing a little colour, wearing a print, and giving those easy ‘go-to’ shoes a rest. Lets wear a pop of colour on our feet and call it a party.
Lets wear a print that doesn’t necessarily have to be in, if you love it wear it (live by that quote!). The good old Gingham dance rubbed off on me, wearing a Lee Mathews gingham print top, back with light worn denim and those red Prada heels I have had in my wardrobe for 2 years and have worn once ‘should be way more times!’

When I get weary of black, I wear navy.

Yes, wearing prints is a great way to add a bit of color or FUN to your outfit. An I agree with you 100%, we should wear the prints we love, and which work for us, regardless of whether they are currently trendy or not. Feeling good > looking good
